Officially representing the Ducati factory in World SBK (with Nicolo Bulega and Alvaro Bautista) and WorldSSP (Supersport with Adrian Huertas) until this winter, the Aruba.it team abandons the intermediate category on the tarmac, but adds a new string to its bow with Motocross.
Aruba.it will in fact be the title sponsor of the official Ducati team in the Motocross World Championship – MXGP 2025, confirming its bond with the Borgo Panigale company with which it will be present on the track next year both in the Superbike World Championship, with the Ducati Panigale V4R of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team, and in the FIM MotoE World Championship, with the Ducati V21L of the Aruba Cloud team.
This entry into the Motocross World Championship represents a historic milestone for Ducati, which, after winning the 1 Italian MX2024 Championship on its debut with Alexander Lupino riding the new Desmo450 MX and taking part in two rounds of the MXGP World Championship with Antonio Cairolli (in Holland) and Lupino himself (in Spain), will participate for the first time this year in the entire MXGP with the Swiss rider Jeremy Seewer and the young Italian talent Mattia GuadagniniThe 2025 championship will begin on March 2 in Cordoba, Argentina, and conclude on September 21 in Darwin, Australia.
Twenty rounds will take place on four continents (South America, Europe, Asia, Australia) with guaranteed television coverage in 180 countries and an expected audience of over 780 million viewers. Added to this are over 5 million fans connected via the MXGP social pages and over 700 spectators on the tracks, as expected in the 000 season.
The presentation of the Aruba.it – Ducati Factory MX Team will take place on Tuesday 11 February at the Auditorium inside the Aruba Data Center Campus in Ponte San Pietro (Bergamo) and will be part of a major event that will celebrate Aruba.it's commitment to the world of racing. The event will also feature the liveries of the bikes competing in other championships alongside the Ducati Desmo450 MX of Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini for the MXGP team. This includes the Ducati Panigale V4s ridden by Alvaro Bautista and Nicolò Bulega for the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team in the Superbike World Championship., and the Ducati V21Ls ridden by Alessandro Zaccone and Luca Bernardi who will represent the Aruba Cloud team in the MotoE World Championship.
