The regional site Umbria On had the opportunity to speak with Danilo Petrucci on the eve of the Austrian Grand Prix.

We retained three of his answers relating more to his sporting activity.

Jack Miller?

Danilo Petrucci: “It seems to be him, I read it in a daily newspaper. I like Jack, he's a person who thinks a little off the beaten track. He is fast and very young, he learns quickly. I think it will be tough, especially when it rains. As for Austria, I would like to be the best satellite rider and the best Ducati rider. Taking last year into consideration, this is a favorable track for us. »

Valentino Rossi?

“We have been friends for many years, we had fun competing together, but not in worlds. There, the stakes are not high and I am not his fiercest opponent. So far that hasn't happened and we are really friends. We even see each other outside the circuits. »

The future ?

“I want to do the Dakar, on a motorbike and by car. Previously, doing it on a motorbike was one of my dreams. Although it no longer leaves Paris, it remains an adventure to do. That would be the best because it would mean that I did well in MotoGP. »

Danilo Petrucci is currently 2nd Ducati rider on a GP17, 9 points ahead Jorge Lorenzo.
