Honda Racing UK has just announced its 2023 driver line-up for the international road racing season where the team will once again feature at the NW200 and Isle of Man TT. Returning to race for the manufacturer, with whom he has amassed 16 of his 23 overall TT victories, road racing king John McGuinness will be alongside Manx rider Nathan Harrison, a rising star of road racing.

The most successful manufacturer to have competed in the TT, Honda, is delighted to continue its relationship with the 'Morecambe Missile' after their historic year together in 2022 saw Honda celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Fireblade, while John McGuinness recorded his 100th TT. This proven winning combination prepares to make history together for another year.

Lined up alongside his childhood idol, Nathan Harrison joins the team fresh off his first Senior TT outing in 2022, where he clocked a lap of 128,087 mph and placed 10th aboard the Steam Packet Fireblade. Although last year was the first time Nathan Harrison took part in the senior race, he is no stranger to racing on the island, racking up wins and podiums at the Manx Grand Prix. With the full support of the Honda team and the guidance and mentoring of his highly experienced teammate, 2023 will be an exciting year on the roads for Nathan, who will line up alongside his hero in the NW200 and TT.

John McGuinness: “Coming back to ride a Fireblade at the TT last year was something special, so it seemed right to continue for another year. I couldn't feel more comfortable with the Honda team, so a big thank you to Harv and Neil. Celebrating the 100 TT with the team and riding in this unique livery and all the history we have was really something else. We also reached the top 5 last year in superbike, which was great, but I want more. I just want to start now and get back racing! »

Nathan Harrison: “Racing alongside John and being part of the Honda Racing UK team has always been a dream of mine. Coming from a family that has always been involved in motorcycling, TT has always been in my blood. Watching the TT as a kid with John and Honda dominating made me want to be the next “John McGuinness” and that was my whole goal. I can’t thank Havier & Honda Racing UK enough for this opportunity. This is only my second TT so riding a great bike, with the best teammate I could ask for, will be an incredible experience. »
