The Moto3s opened the last Grand Prix ball of the year under the Valencia sun. The last four editions of the Valencia Grand Prix have each been won by a KTM rider in the category: Danny Kent (2012), Maverick Viñales (2013), Jack Miller (2014) and Miguel Oliveira (2015). Was the Austrian brand going to continue this series with its champion Binder in particular? The same Binder who could end the season with the largest lead recorded in the smallest category by increasing his capital by 130 points? To see, because it is indeed a Honda which is in pole position with the young Canet. And we saw.

Shortly before the lights went out letting the pack go, the first sensation came from a Canet forced to push his motorcycle out of the starting grid. The pole sitter will leave the pits, ruining all his good work in qualifying. The start given bastianini et Ono began to compete for control of the race before Binder does not decide to make an effort already. An initiative which will only last one lap, the South African having to leave the trajectory following a technical problem, which will drop him twenty places in the peloton.

At the same time, Rodrigo lost control of his KTM to the great dismay of a bagnaia who was unable to do anything on his Mahindra to avoid the obstacle appearing in front of his front wheel. A violent accident, but the two pilots recovered from a somersault that Dallas Port will go a little further alone. Barely three laps had been completed and the ranks had already thinned.

Adventures avoided by a quartet composed of Migno, Mir, bastianini et By Giannantonio who didn't have to be asked to take flight. Three Italians, a Spaniard and as many KTMs as Hondas, such was the situation with 15 laps to go.

However, we were far from the start of the epilogue since the peloton ended up joining this leading square, completely redistributing the cards for victory. Cornfeel, Guevara, Oettl, NAVARRO claimed to be able to win just as much. Like a Brad Binder, returned from the devil vauvert and decided to leave the Moto3 scene under the sign of one last exploit.

A feat which will be consummated in a final lap full of mastery during which he constructed his seventh achievement of the season. He increases his lead over his runner-up to 142 units, a record, and he is ahead of a Mir who asserts himself as the best beginner of the season. Migno completes a podium for a KTM factory which confirms its domination on this track. On the French side, it’s sadness. Quarterly ends a disappointing campaign in thirteenth place, Danilo is twenty-sixth and Boulom thirtieth.
