It was at short notice that Alain Bronec, the owner of the CIP-Unicom Starker Moto3 team, had to find a replacement for a Fabio Spiranelli who was still crumpled and had little to gain in any case during the this final round of the 2016 Moto3 World Championship.

His choice logically fell on Enzo Boulom which will ride in Valencia in a week, in the Moto3 Junior FIM CEV world championship under the colors of the FFM, and which moreover should end up definitively concretizing its arrival in Grand Prix next year as part of the CIP-Unicom Starker team (Signature in progress).

Alain Bronec: “Fabio cannot race here because of his physical problems and we tried to replace him to complete our team for this Grand Prix. The replacement with Boulom helps us a lot since Enzo will be our driver for next season, and this is a good way to start our cooperation. He has to get used to using the Mahindra and working as a group with the entire team. As a French team, having a French driver with us is important and exciting.”

Enzo Boulom: “On the one hand and certainly, replacing an invalid driver is not a good thing to do. I wish Fabio the best and a speedy recovery. As for my debut, here in Valencia, I am very happy and excited to drive for a French team like CIP Unicom Starker. I have known Alain Bronec for many years and I am very grateful to him for this opportunity which constitutes the first step in our cooperation for next season.”
