After a final race for Yamaha during which the Majorcan rider left his opponents no chance, it was a very happy Jorge Lorenzo who spoke to the site's microphone MotoGP.com, barely got off his Yamaha M1.
Jorge Lorenzo : “I am very happy, very very happy. I can now stay calm and relax. I'll be able to sleep soundly because it's a perfect end to my nine-year stint at Yamaha. It is very moving. Before the race, I didn't expect to win because I knew Marc was very strong. But fortunately I was able to create this gap from the start and then maintain the distance a little. I suffered a lot during the last 10 laps because when I saw Marquez in second position, I knew he was going to attack and look for the limit. But in the end, I was able to win the race by just a second and give this last gift to Yamaha, and so we're going to have a big celebration today. »
