The 2016 Valencia Grand Prix marked Ktm's Grand Prix debut in MotoGP.

She was made as a wild card with the development team and Mika Kallio on the handlebars, before giving way, two days later, to the official team as well as its two titular drivers Espargaro Pol et Bradley Smith.

These now having the possibility of testing for KTM, and Mika Kallio having a test driver contract running until the end of 2017, the Austrian firm no longer really needs the services of Randy de Puniet or Karel Abraham, since it can run its regular drivers as much as it wants, within the limit of 120 tires per driver.

So, after being warmly thanked by KTM and receiving some souvenir gifts, the French pilot is therefore heading towards a triptych of activities including a (reinforced?) presence on Eurosport, undoubtedly some races in EWC, and the coaching of fabio quartararo in Moto2.

We will therefore undoubtedly have the pleasure of continuing to meet the very experienced French driver in the Grand Prix paddock…
