Rather than Petrux's thirteenth position in Valencia, the Pramac team preferred to celebrate its overall record for the season, with four podiums (Mugello, Assen, Misano and Motegi) and four first rows (Barcelona, Sachsenring, Assen and Motegi ).
This earned the Italian team based in Tredegar in Wales fifth place in the team standings, which was remarkable with twelve teams present, including six factories.
However, Petrucci's Valencia weekend was not sumptuous, with fifteenth place at the end of free practice, fifteenth position on the fifth row of the starting grid, and finally thirteenth at the finish of the race.
After a modest start to the season, Danilo stood out by finishing third in the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello, then appearing at the front until the Japanese Grand Prix, after which his end of season was very discreet.
According to Danilo Petrucci, who are " It was a season full of satisfaction. We experienced great emotions that I will always remember. I have an extraordinary team that I want to thank for the work accomplished throughout the season. »
“I send a special dedication to all those who contributed to achieving these results. I also salute my mechanic Edoardo with whom I shared the precious moments before the start of each race. »
His teammate Scott Redding ended his season with a crash, ultimately placing fourteenth in the World Championship, with best results two seventh places in Qatar and Aragon. He is leaving for Aprilia to replace Sam Lowes and should discover the RS-GP this Tuesday.
To Scott Reding, who are " I'm sorry to have ended the season with an accident, but the feeling with the bike was not good. However, I am satisfied for these two years. »
“I had a great relationship with the entire team I worked with to overcome difficulties. The relationship with Pramac Racing is a link that will remain in the future. Thanks to all the guys who worked to put me in a position to give my best. »
