Kazuki Masaki made his Moto3 GP debut this weekend with the Asia Talent Team:
Nicolo Bulega was out due to a broken right ankle following a fall on Saturday when he was unable to avoid Niccolo Antonelli's motorbike which fell in front of him. Darryn Binder also no longer participated in the Grand Prix due to a damaged left thumb ligament during FP3.

Marco Bezzecchi (CIP) fell violently in turn 11. He remained stunned for some time in the gravel trap, then pushed his bike towards his pit.
Aron Canet was credited with the first fast time in 1'39.716. Joan Mir preceded him in 1'39.704, despite a figure:

With 27 minutes to go, Jules Danilo was sixteenth, 0.9 behind Mir. Gabriel Rodrigo took the lead in 1'39.332, then Jorge Martin beat his own circuit record in 1'38.665. With 18 minutes to go, Martin was 0.6 ahead of Enea Bastianini and Gabriel Rodrigo, 0.8 ahead of Juanfran Guevara, and 0.9 ahead of Aron Canet and Ayumu Sasaki.

In the very last moments, Marco Bezzecchi fell for the second time in the session. During the very last lap, Jorge Martin further improved the record in 1'38.428. He preceded Joan Mir, Gabriel Rodrigo, Tatsuki Suzuki, Enea Bastianini and Aron Canet. Jules Danilo ranked twenty-first at 1.7.
