On the sidelines of the Valencia Grand Prix, the grand final of the MotoGP eSport Championship, launched just a few months ago, is taking place this afternoon.

The final, like the semi-finals, will be visible thanks to MotoGP broadcasters and in streaming on the internet.

This event, which also aims to strengthen the link with the community of fans, will see these 16 players, from six different countries, who have distinguished themselves online since this summer, compete against each other. After practice sessions, the winners will be decided in semi-finals and only eight candidates will take their place in the final, at the end of which the winner will be declared. The live broadcast, which will last two hours, will begin at 17 p.m. this Friday.

Television coverage of this event will be offered on Sky Uno and Sky Mixen Italy, in addition to the skyitalia.it website. In Great Britain, fans will be able to follow this final on BT Facebook Live. In Spain, the Movistar MotoGP and Movistar eSports channels will provide live coverage. For the rest of Europe covered by Eurosport, the live will be available on the Player. The retransmission is entrusted to Sport5 and 5LIVEHD in Israel, to Supersport in South Africa, to OSN in North Africa and the Middle East, to Fox Australia in Australia, to FOX Asia in Aise, to FOX Sports 2 in Malaysia and Star Sports 2 in China.

MotoGP will also make its various interfaces available for this event: motogp.com, MotoGP eSport YouTube, MotoGP eSport Twitter, MotoGP eSport Twitch and MotoGP eSport Facebook.

The winner of this very first edition of the MotoGP eSport Championship will win the BMW 240i Coupé and an entry to the Red Bull Hanger in Austria. Among the other prizes awarded were a KTM RC390 and a Samsung Smart TV.

Manel Arroyo, Managing Director: “It’s an exciting new adventure to enter this eSports environment. Dorna Sports is proud to work alongside our broadcasters, who will allow fans around the world to follow this grand finale of the MotoGP eSport Championship live. »
