This Saturday the second round of the Motorcycle Endurance World Championship is being held on the famous Belgian circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. The eight-hour long event began at around 13:00 p.m. and has already seen the TSR Honda France go through many emotions.

The No. 5 got off to a good start to its Ardennes weekend, taking second position on the starting grid for the Spa 8H. The rest of the meeting, however, became complicated at the start of the event, before taking a nightmarish turn.

Alan Techer made a first mistake at the start of the race, forgetting to turn on his bike, which caused him to lose considerable time over his opponents. Spending the entirety of his first stint stringing together fast laps to get back to the front, he finally managed to regain second position before diving into the pit lane, despite everything suggesting a certain disappointment at having made this mistake. error.

“I didn't turn the bike on, so when I jumped on it, it didn't start. I tried to push as much as possible to come back, but it's obviously a little disappointing because we knew we had the ability to fight up front. I'm going to rest now, and we'll see what the rest of the race has in store for us. »

However, the rest was even more tumultuous for the No. 5 machine, since at the start of the stint, Josh Hook found his way to the gravel trap by losing the front in the second sector. Although he was able to leave without his bike being damaged, the Australian took a lot of time to get it up again to get back on the track.

As the three hours of racing approach, the No. 5 is still outside the top 10, while Yart Yamaha is in the lead, followed by the No. 12 and No. 37.
