Last year, around this time, the Espargaro brothers visited the home of the family of the unfortunate Dani Rivas who lost his life during the second round of the AMA Superbike/Superstock 1000 championship at Laguna Seca at the end of July.
The purpose of this visit was to give the parents their son's motorcycle, a motorcycle specially purchased by Aleix Espargaro for this occasion. Despite the difficult circumstances, it was a nice gesture to the credit of a pilot whose qualities of heart no longer need to be proven.
This year, it is in a much lighter atmosphere that the Suzuki driver has reissued a similar gift. In fact, he gave his brother the bike with which Pol was Moto2 world champion in 2013 (see video below). Enough to bring tears of joy to the Tech3 driver before he flies to Japan to participate in the Suzuka 8 Hours…
Qualities of heart which, however, do not only earn Aleix friends, since, very attached to the fate of animals, he publicly spoke out against bullfights, which earned him some particularly stupid gestural insults.
