Ambassador of the Spanish firm bought by Volkswagen, Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo had fun behind the wheel of Seat Cupra TCR, beautiful little beasts of 350 horsepower, on the seemingly pleasant Castellolí, in Spain.
There, their driver genes took over and the Italian said: “The desire is the same when you drive a car or a motorcycle: when you are on the track, you want to be the fastest. It's fantastic because it allows you to find the limit on the track, to go faster. I love speed and competition on four wheels, it gives me a good feeling. Maybe when I finish my career in motorcycles, one day I will get into cars.”
For his part, Marjorquin found the event relatively easy: “when motorcyclists switch to four wheels, it is easy for us to find speed and rhythm. It's a great car. I've been riding a motorcycle since I was three years old, that's a long time! For me, trying a car like this is something new and a lot of fun.”
However, history does not say who was the fastest while some will notice that if Dovizioso was dressed in red, his current teammate had opted for a more neutral combination...
