It was just 30 years ago, on August 23, 1987, and for the first time, the Czechoslovak Grand Prix took place on the brand new Brno circuit.
It was the golden period of motorcycling and the names of the riders of that time are still very present in our minds today: Spencer, Gardner, Lawson, Mamola, Baldwin, Sarron, Schwantz, Gresini, Haslam, Martinez, Barros, De Radigues, Cardus, Lavado, etc.
