En route to Australia for the 16th round of the MotoGP season, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa made a brief stop in Indonesia, one of Honda's key markets.

They visited the Sunter factory, the original establishment established by PT Astra Honda in Indonesia in 1971, where they were enthusiastically welcomed by the 1500 employees (see video below).

On Tuesday, they visited the Astra Biz Center and met with 30 students as part of a safety campaign to empower Indonesian bikers.

Marc Marquez : “The emotions that Indonesian fans can give us are amazing; they really provide extra energy and enthusiasm. We felt this while visiting the Astra Honda factory and also speaking with some young students who are taking driving and safety lessons through the #Cari_Aman safety campaign. I hope that safe driving becomes a priority for them and for all Indonesians who take to the road. Safety is as important on the road as it is on the track and it is crucial that it becomes an essential part of any driver's lifestyle. »

Dani Pedrosa : “It’s always a great emotion to come to Indonesia. The fans are very passionate and you can feel it as soon as you arrive. It seems like everyone loves motorcycling here, and there are a lot of people riding motorcycles, and we are happy to support Astra Honda's #Cari_Aman safety campaign. As riders, we know that it is very important to be well protected with a quality helmet and, when we are on the track, with a suit equipped with back and ventral protectors, because anything can happen. Safety is always the first priority when riding a motorcycle. »

A message that we can never repeat enough...
