Hervé Poncharal had highlighted the gesture at the end of the German Grand Prix: Johann Zarco, still in a leather suit, went to congratulate his teammate Jonas Folger for his splendid race which allowed him to obtain a second place at home.

“One of the things I would like to mention, which shows the Tech3 spirit, is that although no one asked him, Johann made the decision to go to the Parc Fermé and hug Jonas Folger. This is something we don't see very often, and it struck a chord with me, and it shows how closely the Tech3 team works together. Young Hector Garzo, who rode for us in Moto2 this weekend, was also on the podium to celebrate Jonas' result! »

Indeed, this gesture is extremely rare in the MotoGP category. It is generally found in endurance, where the word team has real meaning. In Grand Prix, we encounter it most of the time when it comes to Marquez brothers or pilots of the VR46 Riders Academy rolling in different categories.

But in MotoGP, between two riders from the same team, when did the same gesture occur?
