After his third place at the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez, Jorge Lorenzo sent a message on social networks, in which he thanks in Italian the fans who remained loyal to him despite his difficulties at the start of the season, and advocates solidarity with all Ducati aficionados.

Jorge Lorenzo : “Hello everyone I want to send this message to greatly thank all the “Ducatists” who, through social networks or when I met them personally, gave me great energy with their messages of support as well as their belief in myself and my chances of pushing hard with this bike. I believed in it and I worked hard during these last weeks and months when everything seemed very complicated. We continued working and, finally, we achieved this fantastic result. I just want to say “thank you very much”. Right now we have to stay more united and stronger than ever to try to achieve our goal, which is to win races and fight for the world title. A big thank you and greetings to all “Ducatists”.

As a reminder, Jorge Lorenzo left a very comfortable situation at Yamaha to take on the same challenge as that of Valentino Rossi in his time, but with a nationality and a past which do not represent an asset to conquer the hearts of fans...
