Just by watching this short video of their training in Rufea, it seems certain that Marc Marquez intends not to leave it easy to Brad Baker, during the Superprestigio which will be held next Saturday in Barcelona...
This one, questioned by crash.net, indulged in some remarks, which concern Marc Marquez that he judges toa good level for a Quarter mile but no more, or a certain Valentino Rossi with whom he has also just trained at MotoRanch: “It's great to ride with Marc or Valentino, but I'm definitely someone they use to measure their (dirt track) performance. No matter what type of bike they ride, they want to know how good they can be, and until someone of my caliber comes along, they don't have a true benchmark for dirt track.
With Marc, you can definitely see some dirt track influence on his riding. It seems like he's always looking for the limits. He has the mentality that helps and as he gains experience, he lets the bike move more and more. it now seems natural to him. But you can definitely spot the asphalt racers when they try their hand at dirt track! Their body positioning, and the way they sit on the bike, is good, but the way they use their body means you can tell from their style that they are asphalt riders. I think you can see an evolution in their styles, whether it's Marc or Valentino, because there's a progression. »
The Superprestigio will be partially broadcast on Eurosport from 19:30 p.m. Brad Baker is the big favorite.
