Our colleagues from the Spanish site Todocircuito report that the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya hosted its first day of free practice last weekend open to non-world championship drivers, since the end of the state of alarm on June 21.

Fortunately, the quick action of the people who were at the pit lane at that time as well as the abundance of fire extinguishers that are still in the Montmeló pits prevented a larger tragedy from occurring., causing only several thousand euros in material damage.
