Yesterday Valentino Rossi gave us two videos of VR46 Riders Academy riders training on the Misano circuit.

The second is a look at the atmosphere that reigns there, but the first is a complete tour of the Italian circuit filmed from the Doctor's helmet.

It is therefore easy to take a time (roughly 1'39) and see that, on a production R1, apparently without forcing and despite the presence of his brother Lucas Marini at his side who inevitably bothers him, Valentino Rossi is 4,5 seconds behind Alex Lowes' time in Superpole last June (1'34.641), and less than 7 seconds behind his own qualifying on the M1 during the San Marino GP (1'32.216). Not bad for a production motorcycle!

How much could he reduce the gap by driving as hard as possible? A time of 1'37? Less ? More ?
