Just over a year ago, Alain Chevallier has left us.

We are obviously not going to present him to those who were lucky enough to know this man whose qualities of heart were well worth his technical expertise: they were inevitably marked by his intelligence, his humor and his modesty.

The youngest of our readers obviously do not know Alain Chevallier, and will probably not have the patience to watch these videos until the end, but that doesn't matter: let them skim over them and simply know that he was one of the exceptional men that the world of Grands Prix counted.

In addition to his personality as non-conformist as it is competent, one anecdote is enough to illustrate it: the big boss of the HRC, Yoichi Ogouma, went so far as to entrust him with factory 500cc engines!
