Rumors continue to circulate in the MotoGP paddock, concerning the team that will surround Jorge Lorenzo at Ducati in 2017.

In Assen we talked about Max Biaggi to serve as a coach replacing Wilco Zeelenberg. The good relations between the two men no longer need to be proven, nor even the gestures of friendship, the Corsair having made it his duty to choose the side of the Majorcan against his teammate, and to make it known.

This rumor was not denied by Jorge Lorenzo, who spoke of it as a “possibility”, while specifying that there was another “really surprising” without wanting to say more.

The latter seems linked to the name of Casey Stoner, even if #99 just smiles when the press asks him the question.

The Stoner hypothesis, which definitely unintentionally creates many, would also be favored by the possible return of the technical chief Christian Gabarrini (currently with Jack Miller) among the reds.

Stoner, Gabarrini, Biaggi; prestigious names which reek of success in Italy and which Ducati has the means to afford.

Now, we saw it unfortunately with Valentino Rossi during his visit to Borgo Panigale, simply adding the value names is not enough to achieve success.

But, let's face it, it would still look “good”!
