No less than 50 drivers will compete in the 2020 edition of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship during the European events on the calendar.

The provisional entry list for the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship was released today, two months before the start of the season. 50 drivers will line up at the Jerez Circuit for a thrilling new campaign, the fourth since the creation of this entry category in 2017.
With the promotion of the reigning World Champion, Manuel González, in WorldSSP, the quest for an heir to the throne is being prepared with dozens of suitors. But only 36 of them will qualify for Sunday's race: the 30 fastest drivers from free practice (and not qualifying like last year), plus the first six from the last chance race. .
Among the 50 participants, there are those who will be returning, rookies and regulars in the category since its advent, who represent 13 nationalities and three manufacturers: Kawasaki, KTM and Yamaha.
Ana Carrasco (Kawasaki Provec WorldSSP300) continues in WorldSSP300 and will once again be among the favorites. Last season, she broke her WorldSSP300 points record, while finishing third in the standings, behind González and Scott Deroue (MTM Racing Team), another big favorite for the championship.
Kevin Sabatucci (Kawasaki GP Project), one of last year's winners, will be one of the members of an exclusively Italian trio alongside Bruno Ieraci (Kawasaki GP Project) andAlfonso Coppola (Kawasaki GP Project), vice-World Champion 2017. Two other winners continue the adventure like Mika Pérez (PRODINA IRCOS team) and Koen Meuffels (MTM Racing team).
There are also protagonists who have occupied the podium in the past and who will be looking for their first success like Jan-Ole Jahnig (Freudenberg KTM Junior Team), Hugo De Cancellis (Team TRASIMENO), Nick Kalinin et Dorren Loureiro (RT Motorsports by SKM – Kawasaki), Borja Sanchez (Scuderia Maranga Racing) and Glenn van Straalen (EAB Ten Kate Racing).
Drivers from all over the world will compete, and up-and-coming Australian drivers will join them, like Tom Edwards (Kawasaki ParkinGO Team) and Tom Bramich (Carl Cox – RT Motorsports by SKM – Kawasaki); of Great Britain, with Indy Offer (Scuderia Maranga Racing) and Eunan McGlinchey (Team#109 Kawasaki); from Japan, with Yuta Okaya (MTM Racing Team); and Brazil, with Your Kawakami (Yamaha MS Racing), Meikon Kawakami et Felipe Macan (Team Brasil AD 78).
