Toprak Razgatlioglu, Nicolo Bulega, a podium but that is not enough.

Alvaro Bautista retains his throne in Aragon, Toprak loses the race with a series of records but increases his lead in the world championship standings. The reigning world champion took half the championship to find a way to neutralize the effect of the ballast as much as possible, and on this magical track (nine triumphs) he has regained his former superiority. But for the title, it is too late...
The BMW ace had missed the previous two rounds due to injury at Magny-Cours and had seen the gap in the standings narrow to 13 points. Motorland was the perfect trap to put the BMW on the ropes, but instead Nicolò Bulega, between mechanical breakdowns and various problems, saves the podium but finds himself at 39 points. There are still 124 at stake, everything is still possible. But today, Toprak Razgatlioglu sent a champion signal: when he can't win, he limits the damage to the maximum. It will be difficult to catch up with him.

Alvarito, the ducatista of records
Alvaro Bautista is climbing the Superbike honours board by leaps and bounds. He now has 63 triumphs and 105 podiums, more than any other Ducatist in history. The numbers shine, except for those that would be more important at the moment, namely those of the championship standings. With two thunderous victories in a single day, Alvarito has scored 50 points, just one more than Toprak, who has finished second three times. He is therefore far from the lead, with 81 points. Something big would have to happen in the last two rounds for him to get back on track. "I lost but I really did my best", welcomes Toprak Razgatlioglu. It's true: not only did he erase doubts about his complete physical recovery after a terrible blow and three weeks of inactivity, but he also gave wings to the BMW, which has always suffered here. In the most difficult weekend, El Turco took a (decisive?) step towards a second world championship, which would be the first for the German giant.
