Alvaro Bautista is convinced that Danilo Petrucci could be among the strongest in the next World Superbike Championship, but he is also keeping an eye on Aegerter.

Alvaro Bautista respects everyone but fears no one, as he has already demonstrated this year. He dominated the World Superbike Championship but remained the same guy as ever: open, humble, sunny and extremely available to everyone. During the FIM Awards weekend in Rimini, he was among the most involved and did everything. He is now back in Spain for other events.
« This weekend I will participate in my country's fan club party - said Alvaro Bautista in Corsedimoto – we will definitely have fun. On December 15, I will return to Italy for the big Ducati evening in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna, with all the Ducatisti. It will be a month of celebrations but we cannot relax because the 2023 season will soon begin ».

The next Superbike World Championship will be full of stars. Will it be more difficult?
« The 2022 Superbike World Championship was very enjoyable with a three-way battle. Next year we'll see what happens. Certainly Toprak and Rea will be at high levels but we must not forget that drivers are arriving from other categories as agitated, Supersport World Champion. Then there will be the riders who raced in MotoGP. The level rises more and more and it will be more and more difficult to win it ».
How do you see the arrival of Danilo Petrucci?
« Petrucci has experience with these bikes because before going to MotoGP he raced in Superstock 1000. He will definitely be one of the strongest riders in the category with all the experience he has. But he won't be the only one to watch. In 2023 it will be very hard but fun ».
What do you think ?
« I like it, definitely yes. I think the more talented drivers there are, the better it is for everyone because the level goes up. There is always something to learn from strong opponents: you have more stimuli, you work harder and you improve ».
