Alvaro Bautista already champion but still hungry: in the Superpole Race, he risks the super soft tire and crushes the field this time again!

Alvarito has already celebrated his second Superbike title, but the celebration in Jerez has not satisfied him. The Ducati rider was also relentless in the Superpole Race, signing the 26th triumph of this exceptional year, the 58th of his career. If he succeeds again this afternoon, he will join Carl Fogarty, one of the legends of the motorcycles derived from the series. Bautista also dominated the sprint distance, managing to exploit the Pirelli SCQ, the super soft tire of qualifying, which rather put in crisis Toprak Razgatlioglu, only fourth. Is it due to the Spaniard's lightness or his driving sensations?

Dominique Aegerter, the roller coaster
The red flag is immediately displayed following an oil leak from the Yamaha GRT of Dominique Aegerter and the fall ofIker Lacuona which follows. The challenge resumes shortly after for eight rounds with the same field as before. The Swiss was able to restart and changed his choice of tires to SCX (soft), just like Jonathan Rhea. Hoping that Bautista would run out of gum might have been a good idea, but that didn't happen. Dominique Aegerter, after many misfortunes, nevertheless took an excellent second place, the best result and the first podium of his career in the higher category. All credit goes to the GRT Yamaha engineers who got the mule ready in record time. Rea engaged in a great duel with Toprak, gaining the upper hand on him at the end of the race.

Axel Bassani best private
The Venetian pilot took off again, after his fall on Saturday following contact with Michael Rinaldi. But even without scoring points, he brought down the resistance of Danilo Petrucci, now out of harm's way. For Motocorsa Ducati, it is a great satisfaction to have allowed Bassani to go to Kawasaki with this honor. From Tuesday, Axel will be in green.
