Honestly, not much has happened since Stefan Bradl's first run shortly after noon in Jerez.

The tests bringing together the main Superbike pilots but also Johan Zarco, Michelle Pirro and so Stefan bradl for MotoGP as well as Leonardo Taccini in Supersport and the trio Louis Rossi, Mathieu Gines et Sylvain Barrier for endurance, therefore continued to experience increasingly heavy rain accompanied gradually by a rising wind. The expression “be patient” was current…

After the first run of Stefan bradl, it was the Ducati ERC Endurance which took to the track, with first Mathieu Gines on his handlebars. The Panigale was not equipped with a transponder and is not included in the ranking. In any case, the conditions were catastrophic and this had consequences since, in the process, Sylvain Barrier pulverized the beautiful Italian into the rail in her first lap, leading to an interruption of the session. Heavy damage was reported on the Ducati, but the rider was unhurt.

On resumption, Leonardo Taccini acclimatized to his Kawasaki from the Orelac Racing team by completing a timid first run in 2'41.372.

In the middle of the afternoon, while a number of pilots including Johann zarco et Alvaro Bautista had already ended up returning to their hotel, Stefan Bradl an all-black Honda was released, undoubtedly foreshadowing the RC213V which will equip the drivers of the brand with the golden wing in 2021.

Leonardo Taccini concluded the day with a final run shortly before 17 p.m.

Unfortunately, rain is still expected tomorrow in Jerez… Maverick Vinales, having canceled his visit at the last moment, was right!
