The final race of the weekend at Magny-Cours took place in an unprecedented and somewhat melancholic context. For the first time in years, the starting grid was devoid of some of the biggest names in Superbike: Toprak Razgatlioglu, injured during Friday practice, Jonathan Rea, injured in the thumb on Saturday, and Alvaro Bautista, victim of a fall on Sunday morning. With nine world titles absent, the atmosphere was special. Not since Jerez 2013 had a Superbike race seen a grid without a world champion.
In this unique situation, it is Nicholas Bulega who shone brightly by winning race 2 at Magny-Cours, solidifying his place among the paddock's rising talents. Starting from pole position, the Italian left no room for doubt by taking the lead from the first corner, and quickly widening the gap on his pursuers. He crossed the finish line with a lead of more than 3 seconds over Danilo Petrucci, who achieved a superb second place.

In fourth position, alex lowes had a great race after overcoming a technical problem at the start. The Briton managed to move up several places, finishing ahead of Michael van der Mark et Remy Gardner, who complete the top six.
Scott Redding, despite a difficult race, took seventh place, just ahead of the Hondas of Xavi Virgo et Iker Lecuona. Andrea Locatelli closes the top ten.
A significant victory for Open up, who managed to impose himself in a race marked by the absence of several favourites, and a great opportunity for the other drivers to rise to the forefront.
