Thus, the Frenchman will not be able to honor his position on the Kawasaki Puccetti, this weekend, during the next round of the WSBK, on ​​the new track of Must and Czech Republic.

Le Kawasaki Puccetti Racing was looking forward to facing the new round of the WSBK World Championship on the Most circuit in the Czech Republic, a new track which appears on the calendar for the first time this season. Unfortunately, injured in the first race at Assen, Lucas Mahias will not be able to participate in this sixth round of the specialty. The French pilot fractured his left scaphoid and underwent surgery on July 26 in France.

Mahias is expected in Navarra

The operation went well and Lucas has already started his post-surgery rehabilitation but unfortunately he will not be able to race in Most. He is expected to return in time for the next event, which will take place in Navarra, Spain, August 20-22.

This year, Lucas Mahias is back to compete in the premier category of production derivatives. This time, however, it was a full-time promotion, as he had previously only competed in two rounds as a replacement for an injured driver. His best result so far was ninth in Race 1 at Donington Park. The start of the Superbike season was regular for the rider from Mont-de-Marsan, always in the points until the accident at the TT Circuit Assen which knocked him out physically.
