Five-time World Superbike Champion Jonathan Rea will continue his record-breaking partnership with Kawasaki and KRT after signing a new multi-year contract. The exact duration of this extension is not specified.
Rea has won five consecutive World Championships as a KRT rider, starting in his first year at Kawasaki in 2015. For the most successful rider in WorldSBK history, the vast majority of championship points and wins from Jonathan were obtained by riding Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-10RR, creating a legend.
With current championship leader Alex Lowes already signed with Kawasaki beyond 2020, KRT has taken the lead in choosing its riders for the next stage of its WorldSBK campaign.
