The Motorland Aragón circuit under a gray sky serves as the backdrop for the Superpole of 28 Supersport drivers which takes place during a 20-minute session.
With 16° in the air and 25° on the ground, the temperatures have nothing to do with those of the day before...

As expected after the two free practice sessions that he dominated yesterday, Niki Tuuli (MV Agusta Corse Clienti) immediately draws in 1'53.760. The Finnish pilot nevertheless finds himself overwhelmed by Dominique Aegerter (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) then Philipp Ottl (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) two laps later, the German taking his Kawasaki in 1'53.542.
Midway through the session, Jules cluzel (GMT94 Yamaha) is in fourth position, 3 tenths behind the latter, preceding Steven Odendaal (Yamaha, Evan Bros. WorldSSP Team) located half a second behind the leader.
A return to the pits follows for almost everyone to prepare for the second run, except for Randy Krummenacher (Yamaha, EAB Racing Team) victim of a very spectacular fall for his bike at turn number two.
