After a first free practice session marked by the best time from Spaniard Unai Orradre, this time it was Yuta Okaya who set the best time in the second session of the Supersport 300, on the Motorland Aragón circuit.

The competitors in the Supersport 300 category were the first to return to the track this afternoon at 14:15 p.m. with a view to continuing the adjustments of their horses. Almost all of the drivers left the pit lane as soon as the lights went out to try to improve on their morning times.

Some have also erred in haste, likeAlejandro Carrion andAlejandro Diez Rodriguez, who both lost control of their Kawasaki on their first flying lap. Only one notable fall will be noted later, around mid-session, with the Dutchman's high side Ruben Bijman, fortunately without any unfortunate consequences since the latter was able to get back on the track as soon as he was back in the saddle.

Unai Orradre, author of the best time in the first free practice session, started the session with a knife between his teeth even if he left it to several of his opponents to appear ahead of him in the provisional ranking. The Yamaha rider was initially content with seventh place, leaving his compatriot Adrian Huertas then the Japanese Yuta Okaya take the lead.

The Japanese driver maintained this position until the checkered flag, finishing ahead of Huertas and the Brazilian Your Kawakami. Orradre, for his part, must be content with fourth place ahead of Bahattin Sofuoglu and French Samuel di Sora.

Di Sora confirms

The tricolor, already the author of a remarkable sixth place this morning, initially scrapped with Orradre before pushing his advantage to temporarily enter the top 3. This new result in the six fastest drivers should allow him to capitalize in experience and to see the rest of the weekend under good auspices.

Also note the good session of his compatriot Hugo de Cancellis, ninth, while we then have to go down to 25th place to find Sylvain Markarian, and in the 34th for Johan Gimbert.

What about the title holder? jeffrey buis could not do better than 15th place, while Mark Garcia (winner of the 2017 edition) and Anna Carrasco (victorious in 2018), finished in 18th and eighth positions respectively.
