It would be surprising if Alvaro proved himself at the level of the best drivers in the premier category, from which he has been absent for several years and which has changed a lot in the meantime. In any case, he goes without any pressure and it is a reward that Ducati awarded to him for his victory in SBK. He has nothing to prove, even if it is normal that he wants to succeed.
