2021 marks the 125th anniversary of the emergence of Kawasaki Dockyard Co. Ltd., this Japanese company established in 1896 before Kawasaki Heavy Industries was finally formed.

To mark this milestone, the Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK, which defends the Superbike world title chances in Argentina with Jonathan Rea, has dressed the Briton's ZX-10RR in a green, white and blue livery evoking the 750 1990 Ninja of Scott Russell, a great Daytona specialist and crowned WorldSBK Champion in 1993.

 

 

The motorcyclealex lowes will look just a little further into the past since its red and black decoration officially evokes the Kawasaki GPZ 900 from the film Top Gun released in 1986 with Tom Cruise. Its use is intended only for Race 1 in San Juan Villicum, Argentina.
