WSBK Superbike Donington FP3: a Yamaha in the lead but it's Gerloff's, Loris Baz second with the BMW

It's back under a blazing sun at Donington for FP3 and it starts strong with Alvaro Bautista going straight at turn 9. This won't give the Spaniard any confidence on a track with which he has little experience. affinities and where a Ducati has not won since 2011... We will recall that, on Friday, it was Toptak Razgatlioglu and especially Jonathan Rea in a fiery FP2 who dominated the debates...

gerloff fifth and lecuona eighth got some nice scares on their Yamaha and Honda respectively.

The first city keeps courage and slams a 1'26.877 in front of our Loris Baz which confirms the qualities of the new swingarm on the BMW. The American in R1 is the only one under the 1'27 mark.

Under the checkered flag, Garrett gerloff keeps the head of operations in front Loris Baz, Razgatlioglu, Rea et Lowes. Lecuona is sixth with his Honda, relegating the first Ducati to seventh place with Baptist. Redding, Oettl et Rinaldi complete the top 10. Mahias is fifteenth and Ponsson 24th
