The message came at 13:50 p.m., just as the Superbike riders were preparing to do Race 1: all remaining on-track activities are canceled due to the accident that affected Dean Berta Viñales (Viñales Racing Team) during the first race of the Supersport 300 which was interrupted by the red flag.
This kind of message obviously makes us fear the worst for the young Spaniard involved in an accident at the second corner at the start of the 11th lap, also involving Alejandro Carrion (Kawasaki GP Project), Daniel Mogeda (Team#109 Kawasaki), Harry Khouri ( Fusport – RT Motorsports by SKM – Kawasaki) and Yeray Ruiz (Yamaha MS Racing).
No information has yet been released regarding the state of health of Maverick's cousin Casa Particular in Viñales, nor on the future progress of the weekend in Jerez.
