About Alessio Piana de Motoracing

In the 2024 MotoAmerica Superbike, the Warhorse HSBK Racing team Ducati is relaunching and doubling its workforce with a Frenchman who is not unknown! Alongside the reconfirmed Josh Herrin, the reference team Ducati in the United States will bring a second Ducati Panigale V4 R., but it will not be entrusted as expected to the reigning MotoAmerica Supersport champion, Xavi Forés. After several rumors on this subject (even the name of Glenn Irwin had been mentioned), it will finally be the return of Loris Baz who will race the entire 2024 Superbike season across the Atlantic.

Loris Baz: “ I have always said that the people I met within the Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati team represented the biggest family I have ever known in this environment »

With the same team, the French driver raced in 2021, finishing in fourth place with 9 podiums to his name. This year, thanks to the experience gained three years ago and a Panigale V4 R which proved competitive in MotoAmerica (the successes of Danilo Petrucci in 2022 and Josh Herrin himself last year have demonstrated), the objective will be to compete for a title that the Borgo Panigale manufacturer has not had for exactly 30 years. It was during the 1994 season, thanks Troy Corser with Eraldo Ferracci's team.

« Due to a serious injury I had a difficult season in 2023, so I wanted to return to America with the same team as in 2021 ", has explained Loris Baz. " I have always said that the people I met within the Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati team represented for me the greatest family I have ever known in this industry. We stayed in touch during these two years with the hope of racing together again in the future and that's exactly what happened. NOW, I'm back to training without any problem, my ankle no longer hurts and I really think it will be a great season for all of us ».
