Has Ducati found the recipe to contain Toprak Razgatlioglu and the BMW at Misano? In the last session, the two Reds Bulega and Bautista are untouchable. Iannone, carefully.

Has Ducati found the recipe to curb the potential of Toprak Razgatlioglu and win the Superbike in Misano? The result of the third and final free practice session fell like a blow to BMW's hopes. “I dream of winning three races at Rossa”, declared the Turk on Friday afternoon. But the dream risks remaining a dead letter. Nicholas Bulega was once again superlative, in 1'33″114, a stone's throw from the unofficial track record, established by his teammate Álvaro Bautista in Superpole a year ago in 1’33″014. This time, the little Spaniard was no exception to the rule, finishing just 14 thousandths behind the twin Panigale. The “one-two” is served: Luigi Dall'Igna, in the Aruba box, is already licking his lips at the idea of an afternoon of glory.

Racing simulations
The session took place with only 27°C on the asphalt, a value drastically lower than that which the drivers will find in race 1, at 14 p.m. This session could, however, be a reliable reference for the Superpole Race, which will take place on Sunday at 11 a.m. Bulega had the best time in the first five-lap stint, as did Bautista in the last, over the same distance. Andrea Iannone also stood out by setting the fourth fastest time in the session. The former MotoGP rider set a 1'33 on lap six, meaning Andrea is in good shape, and we'll see him in the race. The tests a fortnight ago were a little complicated, but obviously, at Go Eleven, they got their hands dirty. Let's also not forget that this is only the fourth event of the world championship after the four years of ban. For the occasion, Iannone will wear a helmet emblazoned with the international pacifist symbol and an important phrase: “One race, the human race”. Gorgeous !

Will Petrucci run?
A good session for Danilo Petrucci, who suffered hell on Friday following the very serious injury he suffered last April during a motocross session. “I will decide at the last minute if I am going to run”, repeats the former MotoGP rider. It is very likely that he will start the race, to check along the way whether he will be able to complete the planned 21 laps. A feat which, given its current state, seems decidedly out of reach even for a dreadnought like Danilo. During this time, Michele Pirro suffers his third fall in two days: the wild card given to him by Ducati will at this rate become a via crucis instead of a celebration.
