WSBK Superbike Misano Superpole: 15 minutes (or almost) breathtaking!

The 15 minutes of the Superbike Superpole take place under the Misano sun at midday.

The session begins with the minor fall ofAlex Lowes.

 

 

Jonathan Rhea places the first reference in 1'33.644 then 1'33.578 but Alvaro Bautista then imposes 1'33.425.

In the following passage, surprise: Toprak Razgatlioğlu registered 1'33.182, a new circuit record after 5 minutes!

 

 

Danilo Petrucci displays 1'33.403, and takes 2nd position in front Álvaro Bautista, Axel Bassani, Michael Rinaldi, Jonathan Rea, Dominique Aegerter, Iker Lecuona, Remy Gardner and Andrea Locatelli.

During the second run, Michael Rinaldi achieves 1'33.266 and dislodges petrux from his place.

Alvaro Bautista then clocked an impressive 1'33.017, while Jonathan Rea seemed powerless to get involved in the Spanish-Turkish fight.

 

 

Scott Redding makes a minor mistake, just as Alvaro Bautista in the process, without any seriousness.

Gabriel Ruiu broke his BMW engine and spilled oil on the track, leading to the appearance of red flags 1'45 from the deadline, while Toprak Razgatlioğlu's Yamaha was on the verge of improving. Damage…
