The day of the hypothetical revenge of Nicolò Bulega The Superbike race opened with a slide at Turn 6, halfway through the ten-minute warm-up. The Ducati rider imperceptibly touched the inside kerb, finding himself propelled into the outside section. He escaped unscathed, but it was obviously not the best way to prepare for the day's two fierce battles against a Toprak Razgtalioglu more enraged than ever.

What will shake up the Superbike rankings?
The warm-up is so short that teams generally only use it to check that everything is in order, more rarely to check some adjustments to the settings or tire choices. Moreover, at 9 a.m. in Misano, the air temperature was 28 °C, but the asphalt was "only" 33 °C, about twenty less than what is planned at the start of Race 2, which begins at 14 p.m. During the first race, Toprak Razgatlioglu took Nicholas Bulega off guard by risking a softer front tire than the Ducati's.

Change of strategy?
In the Sprint Challenge (11am), it's highly likely that the World Championship leader will adapt to the SC1. It will be interesting to see whether the two rivals will favor the E0479, the new supersoft tire that allowed Bulega to take the lead in qualifying. The alternative is the E0126 tested, the most popular choice in the first race.
