Toprak Razgatlioglu will finally test the M1000RR next week: three very important days of testing for the Turkish rider.

There are those who have not yet concluded their 2023 year in the Superbike World Championship: BMW. Indeed, not having had the opportunity to align Toprak Razgatlioglu from the first tests of the off-season, the German company had to postpone its end-of-year tests. This is not an ideal situation, given that in December the temperatures are even lower and therefore the track conditions are far from perfect. The objective, however, is to collect data useful for development with a view to 2024.
Razgatlioglu will make his M1000RR debut on Monday December 4 in Portimao. Obviously, his teammate Michael van der Mark will also be at his side. The two shared the box for a year in 2020, at Yamaha and are therefore working together again.
After a day in Portugal, the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK team will be in action at Jerez the Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 December. We hope that the weather will allow Toprak and Mickey to ride in acceptable conditions, otherwise it will be more complicated to find a base on which to work for 2024.
Toprak Razgatlioglu will be closely observed and the Hondas will also be present
It will be interesting to see how the Turkish rider adapts to the new bike. If he will manage to have a good speed in a short time or if it will take him a long time to be at an excellent level. The challenge is very stimulating for him, given that BMW never won the World Superbike title.
Besides BMW, Honda will also return to the track before the start of the vacation. In Portimao, the HRC team will test the new CBR1000RR-R again. Xavi Verge et Iker Lecuona have expressed very positive comments after the Jerez test, so it will be interesting to understand if there will be confirmations at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.
Speaking of Jerez, Sam Lowes and the Marc VDS team will make their debut there. Obviously, there is curiosity to see how Alex's twin brother will behave after the many seasons spent in Moto2.
