Philipp Oettl

This GMT1 Yamaha R94 was one of the last handlebars still available in WSBK after the decision was made that Lorenzo Baldassarri would not continue his adventure with it. In 2024, it will return to the German Philipp Oettl who had to give up his place within the Ducati GoEleven team to a returning Andrea Iannone. The ambition of the new duo will be to finish in the top 10 when the time comes to take stock.

After losing his handlebars within Team GoEleven to the benefit ofAndrea Iannone for 2024, Philipp Oettl found a new place on the grid WSBK. He will indeed join the Yamaha GMT94 next year, hoping to be able to adapt quickly to the R1 and thus be near the top of the table. On this new adventure, he declared: “ I am very happy to join GMT94 for the 2024 season. Christophe Guyot and his team have been working at a very high level for decades and I'm honored to be able to join the team ».
