The Spanish driver continued to win this Sunday, with a new success obtained against his main rival in the championship, the Briton Tom Booth-Amos.

The least we can say is that Adrian Huertas will have left only crumbs for his opponents at Magny-Cours! The Spanish driver once again did not go into detail by securing a second victory this afternoon in France, his fifth of the season, against his championship opponent Tom Booth-Amos.

The two men fought, as often, a great battle, barely disturbed by the brief passage in the lead of Dean Berta Viñales, ultimately fourth but who straightened out the situation quite well after a messy start to the season. The defending champion of the Supersport 300 category, Jeffrey Buis, finished this second race on the third step of the podium, a result sufficient to return to the top 3 in the championship.

Worse blow for Di Sora

The Dutchman had in fact given up his third place overall yesterday to the Frenchman Samuel di Sora, who this time did not manage to repeat his performance from the day before and had to settle for 12th place at the finish, behind the 2018 world champion, Ana Carrasco.

Huertas thus carried out the good operation in the championship by getting plenty of points in the Nièvre, even if Booth-Amos did well by being his runner-up at the end of each race. The gap between the two men thus increases from 11 to 21 units, which still leaves the Briton within gunshot of his opponent.

What augurs well for a next competitive round, in two weeks in Catalonia.
