Galang Hendra Pratama will be Dominique Aegerter's teammate at the Dutch Ten Kate Racing Yamaha team in WorldSSP 2021. The Indonesian and the Swiss will ride Yamaha YZF-R6s prepared by Ten Kate Racing in the FIM Supersport World Championship .

The Nieuwleusen-based team recently announced that it would return to the category where it won ten world titles between 2002 and 2014. The first driver to be signed is the already announced Dominique Aegerter. A second driver has been signed, the young Indonesian Galang Hendra Pratama.

After impressing during Valentino Rossi's VR46 course in 2016, the Indonesian driver Hendra Pratama, which represents "Semakin di Depan", both the message and the spirit of Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing that helped bring it to the level it is at today, was granted a wildcard entry into the championship of World Supersport 300 in Portimão the following season. He withdrew from that race, but was given a second chance at the Jerez finale, where he became the first Indonesian to win a race at world championship level.

Two strong WorldSSP300 seasons with Yamaha's bLU cRU program have landed him WorldSSP for 2020. The 21-year-old continued to develop throughout the year, with his best result of the season coming obtained at Magny-Cours, where he qualified with an impressive sixth place.

The Ten Kate Yamaha WorldSSP-supported team and riders will now begin their preparations for the 2021 season, which is scheduled to begin in Assen, Netherlands from April 23-25.
