We will have to count on the Swiss pilot For victory this Sunday during the only race contested in the Supersport category. The championship leader was indeed the fastest in the session, ahead of Randy Krummenacher and pole sitter Philipp Öttl.

After the Superbike, it was the turn of the Supersport to carry out its final rehearsals on the Jerez track. We remind you that the Superpole was signed yesterday by Philipp Öttl, who will have a real opportunity to score his first victory this season in the only race contested in the category this weekend.

But like the Superbike, the vagueness has not yet been cleared up regarding the race pace of each, and in this the warm up should provide the first elements of response. Unsurprisingly, Dominique Aegerter, who returns to the category this weekend after prioritizing his commitment to MotoE last week (it must be said that the Swiss was in the running for the title during the final of the electric motorcycle championship in Misano), has is one of the fastest drivers, at the top of the hierarchy, just like Can Öncü.

But Öttl also seems to be holding the rope, and his burst of speed seen in qualifying could very well turn into sufficient pace to fight for victory. A big fight should also take place with Aegerter, finally author of the best time this morning, ahead of Randy Krummenacher.

Behind the three leaders we find Manuel Gonzalez and Can Öncü, while Steven Odendaal finished in sixth position. Niki Tuuli, Raffaele de Rosa, Stefano Manzi and Federico Caricasulo complete the top 10. You then have to go down to 11th place to find Jules Cluzel.
