After his operation for a tibia-fibula fracture, Jules Cluzel's rehabilitation is going very well.

The GMT94 driver has returned to the sport. Cycling and weight training are on the program. Jules worked a lot to try to be back at Magny-Cours. Surgeons and trainers were optimistic.

However, the weather forecast is rainy and after consultation with the FIM doctor, it was decided to postpone Jules' possible return to the next race in two weeks in Estoril (Portugal).

Jules cluzel : " I have given everything over the last few weeks to try to come back to race at home. I feel really good and I am 100% confident that I can run. The problem is the risk of falling which worries those around me. It is true that a short week is missing to be certain that the consolidation is definitive. It's frustrating for me, but I agree with the decision of the team and the federal doctor to come back as strong as possible to Estoril. »

Christophe Guyot : " Everything was ready for Jules, who wanted to come back. But we knew that the chances of riding at Magny Cours were slim because everyone agreed that Jules should not take any risk of seeing his injury worsen. The very good news is that Jules is doing well and that the surgeons and doctors are unanimous in declaring that he will soon be able to get back on his motorcycle. »

Kyle Smith and Corentin Perolari will represent the GMT94 this week-end.
