The Evan Bros WorldSSP Yamaha Team season ends in style, with Valentine Debise who immediately redeemed himself after the misfortune of Race 1 of Supersport in Jerez. In Race 2, the French driver took a fine second position, thanks to a race in which he was able to combine speed and intelligence.

Starting from sixth position, Valentine Debise immediately regained positions, to the point of completing the first lap in second position. As the race progressed, the Albigeois put pressure on the leader Stefano manzi, arriving in his wake with three laps to go, but he lost a few metres following a small error in turn 6.

However, the French driver did not give up, finishing the race and the season with two very fast laps, thanks to which he defended second position against Bo Bendsneyder and closed in on the lead, taking the checkered flag less than three-tenths from victory. A brilliant performance by Valentine Debise, which concludes an equally brilliant season in style.

Valentin and the Evan Bros WorldSSP Yamaha Team have together conquered seven podiums, Debise is fourth in the general classification with 238 points and the Ravenna team is fifth in the team standings, as well as third among the teams with only one rider. Numbers that confirm the great value of the rider, the team and the bike, in a 2024 to be archived with a smile. The Evan Bros WorldSSP Yamaha Team thanks all the partners of the season, and is ready to look towards 2025 with motivation.

Valentin Debise: “I knew since yesterday that I was fast, and today I wanted to be fast from the start. I was able to ride aggressively from the first laps, which allowed me to follow Manzi and even catch him. Unfortunately, on the straight leading to Turn 6, I was slightly sucked into his slipstream, which led me to go wide in the next corner, and those few tenths lost prevented me from attacking him at the end. I still managed to defend second position and this result is a great way to end the season. I made a few mistakes during the year, but fourth place overall is a great result: I thank the team for this great season, we really enjoyed it.”

Fabius Evangelist (Team Manager): “After a complicated 2023, we wanted to start again on a good basis and we succeeded. With Valentin we had a great season, with several podiums and exciting moments, with a fourth place in the general classification that confirms our value. We took the R6, the bike with which we won two world titles and to which we will now have to say goodbye, several times on the podium, and finishing with a podium was what we wanted. I am satisfied with the work of the whole team and Valentin. Thanks to all the partners who allow us to continue to live our passion to the fullest.”
