On the last day WorldSBK Supersport in Most, the winner of race-1, Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura), started from pole position thanks to his best lap from the day before, while Can Oncu (Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team) and Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA) completed the first line.

The Spaniard converted this into a lead on the first lap and he led a total of seven laps before a crash on lap 12 put him out of the race. The Spaniard was then in pursuit of Can Oncu. He spent every lap inside the podium positions and made a decisive push in the final third of the action to win by a comfortable margin of 1.7s.

It is Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA) who finished second. The Frenchman reached the podium in Race 1 and his decision to use the harder SC1 rear tire gave him a late advantage. Lucas Mahias takes his 33rd podium in the Supersport World Championship, the 30th for GMT94 Yamaha.

Philipp Oettl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team) climbed onto the podium for the first time this season after a lively race. The German finished ahead of his compatriot Marcel Schroetter (WRP Racing) who had their best weekend of the season.

Valentine Debise (Renzi Corse) completes the Top 5. After falling in race 1, Stefano manzi (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) fought in race 2 and eventually finished sixth.

P1 – Can Oncu (Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team): “I’m very happy because I knew I couldn’t afford to make the same mistake as yesterday. Normally, Kenan Academy riders don’t make these kinds of mistakes, and I understood that I had to stay focused. I did a few laps to settle in and I told myself that it was time to get away, and I did it. It was an incredible race. I want to thank my team, because last night they gave me a lot of motivation. They worked hard on the bike, I can’t thank them enough. The championship is still long, so I just want to enjoy the podiums and the fight with the others. We’re not even halfway through the season yet, so we’ll think about the title later. For now, the goal is to stay on the podium and keep smiling.”

P2 – Lucas Mahias (GMT94-Yamaha): “I’m very happy with this race. Yesterday I was satisfied but it was just a podium because the gap was big and I had a lot of tire wear. Today, at the last moment, I changed tires to the hard one. So I’m really happy. Maybe I had something to win today, but I lost a little too much time behind Philipp and Stefano. I looked ahead and Oncu was starting to push really hard. When I was alone, I tried to catch him but I think he had something more with the soft tire. At the end of the race, I came back but it was too late. But I’m happy because I attacked every lap. It’s kind of the first time this year where I had the potential to overtake all the guys and have fun. So I enjoyed the race and I thank the team because the bike improved a lot compared to yesterday. At the end of the race, it was really fantastic.” They worked very well to improve the package, and now I'm happy!”
