A notch above his opponents this weekend, the Frenchman continues his lesson in Argentina, with the best time at the end of the warm up ahead of Manuel González and Can Öncü.

A few moments after the Superbike, it was the turn of the Supersport riders to take part in the final rehearsals before the second race of the category this weekend in Argentina.

And in line with his performances at the foot of the Cordillera so far, it was Jules Cluzel who was the fastest in this session, with the best time in 1'41.997. The Frenchman, who won the first event the day before, confirms that he has the pace necessary to win again in Race 2 scheduled for later in the day and thus preserve his invincibility in Argentina.

The GMT94 driver is ahead of Manuel González and Can Öncü, who had already accompanied him yesterday on the podium in the first race. Championship leader Dominique Aegerter occupies fourth place, ahead of Niki Tuuli and Peter Sebestyen, while we have to go down to seventh to find the only driver still mathematically able to challenge him for the title this year, Steven Odendaal.

Eighth place goes to Raffaele de Rosa, the Italian who finished the session ahead of Frenchman Valentin Debise, who will try to repeat his excellent performance from the day before in Race 2. Philipp Öttl completes the top 10.

Finally, we can note that the warm up was briefly interrupted following a mechanical problem on the bike of Argentinian Matias Petratti, which made a portion of the track impassable for a few minutes.
