WSBK Supersport: Ten Kate Racing signs Jorge Navarro for the 2023 season

Ten Kate Racing is pleased to announce that Jorge Navarro will compete in the World Supersport category in 2023 with the Nieuwleusen-based team. The talented Spaniard will ride the Ten Kate Racing-prepared Yamaha YZF-R6, meaning all the ingredients for success are there.

Jorge Navarro made his debut as a regular rider in the Moto3 category in 2015 and immediately reached the podium four times, making him the 'Rookie of the Year'. The following year, the Spaniard took his first two Grand Prix victories before moving to the Moto2 category in 2017. His best season was in 2019, when he reached the podium no less than eight times and finished fourth in the Moto2 world championship.

This year again, the 26-year-old rider from La Puebla de Vallbona reached the podium in Moto2 in Portugal with the Flexbox HP40 team from Sito Pons, but after eight seasons in Grands Prix, it is clearly time to take on a new challenge. challenge.
